PREPARING YOUNG PLAYERS FOR THEIR FOOTBALL JOURNEY

Mini Stars were formally known as Mini Stones/Pebbles, however we moved and rebranded as Mini Stars more recently.  Over the past 10 years we have prided ourself with offering the best possible playing experience for young players to come enjoy and progress with their football into very successful youth teams.

When: Saturday mornings, see the schedule here.

Time: 8.30-9.30am

Location: Cornwallis Academy, Hubbard’s Lane, Maidstone, 4G Artificial pitch.

Cost: £40 per month (September- June only)

Equipment needed: Plastic moulded boots are the best footwear, although trainers may suffice. We recommend wearing warm comfortable clothing as layers can always be taken off. Shin pads are required.

Pathway/Objective: We have strong connections with many local grass roots teams, in particular Staplehurst Monarchs. We have also produced the youth teams for Maidstone United u7 squads for the past several years. Trials take place every May.

We also have a stong connection to a Partner Pro Club. Therefore players will have the opportunity to progress to this Pre-Academy Mid week. This would be an invite only.

We are blessed with a host of experienced coaches who coach on a full time basis.

All sessions are aimed to be fun, as for the majority of players this is their first experience of football. We aim for every player to get as many touches of the ball as possible. Players are grouped based on their age, experience and confidence to maximise development.
